Orly Beauty and Muslim Girl team up to bring the first ever, limited-edition beauty collection catered specifically to women of Muslim faith. Why is this collaboration such a big deal?

“What is the meaning of the word halal?” Non-Muslims sometimes associate the word halal with food but to practicing Muslims, halal is an important part of their everyday lives. Halal means “permissible.” The act of wadu, a ritual abulution performed during prayer, states that water must touch every part of the body to cleanse and purify. So for some, wearing traditional nail polishes act as a barrier between skin and water.

Orly previously launched their breathable nail polishes in 2016.
